Interactive project. Using the heuristic in the book "How to Measure Anything", this project goal is to collect news events of which someone is subjectively 95% sure of the cause, then to put it into the spreadsheet below and do an analysis on the data after every hundred events have been collected. The project will close when 1000 events have been collected.
Instructions: Find and event in the news. Say to yourself "I am 95% sure this was caused by _____ therefore I would bet a soda on it" (or something to that effect). Then put the link in the "link" column and put the event in the "event" column. If you're at least 95% sure that the event was caused People, Animal, Chance or God, put a 1 in the corresponding column of the data sheet. If it had more than one cause, then put a one in all the columns applicable. Then put your initial in the initial column.
